We’re halfway through November, and there’s still a lot happening in the weeks ahead! From upcoming races and holiday runs to club announcements and end-of-year plans, here’s everything you need to know as we close out the month and head into the holiday season.

Highlights:
  • "Track Work Monday" @ Depew Track (Torpy Field), hosted by Mitch and Bob, @ 6:00 am. 

  • "Friday Sunrise Runners" @ Matters Coffee (50 Maple Street, Croton on Hudson) Please RSVP in WhatsApp on Thursday so you know whose smiling faces will be there in the morning to greet you @ 5:30 am.

2025 Peekskill Turkey Trot for Fred’s Pantry: Saturday, November 22, 2025, Check-in: 8:00 AM | Start: 9:00 AM; Location: Peekskill Downtown Gazebo (Division & Park). Bring a frozen turkey, chicken, or ham to participate. Register: CHHOP.org/TurkeyTrot or link above.

Marisa Fund 5-Mile Turkey Trot: Thanksgiving Morning – Thursday, November 27, 8:00 AM, A club favorite! Register at link above

Croton Running Company’s Shoes to Brews – Post-Thanksgiving Fun Run: (No sign-up links applicable.) Sunday, November 30, 2025, various times. Our goal is to be at Yonkers Brewing Company by 10:30 AM. Use the distance you want to run/walk and your pace to calculate how long it will take you to get from your stop to the brewery. Here are the train departure (from Croton) and arrival (to given station) times and the approximate distance from the Old Croton Aqueduct (OCA) near that station to the brewery. Check Google Maps for directions from each station to the brewery. At OCA end continue south on North Broadway to Yonkers Brewing Company.

Philipse Manor (7:06-7:16; 8:06-8:16): 13 miles

Irvington (8:06-8:22; 9:06-9:22): 9 miles

Ardsley (8:06-8:24; 9:06-9:24): 7 miles

Dobbs Ferry (8:06-8:26; 9:06-9:26): 6 miles

Community Support

Support for Jamaica – Hurricane Melissa Relief: We have friends, family, and members of our Run PB community who have been deeply affected by the devastation of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. If you’re able and would like to help, please consider donating to Food for the Poor (link above). 


Two Options to Give Back This Holiday Season


1. Reindeer Drop & Santa Visit:Saturday, December 6 (10–11 AM)

Central Fire Station, 1141 Main Street, Peekskill

Run PB is proud to co-sponsor this event for the third year in a row. Although the run has been cancelled this year, the Peekskill Fire Department is still collecting new unwrapped toys and nonperishable food items to be donated locally. Stop by on December 6 to donate directly – or bring your donation to the December 3 club run if you can’t attend.


2. Westchester County Toys for Tots 

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Wednesday night club run on December 3.

Jingle Jog + White Elephant

Wednesday, December 10, 6PM, River Outpost 

Join our club run/walk in festive attire and stay afterward at River Outpost for a White Elephant beer exchange. Bring a wrapped beer of your choice!


Holiday Party

Wednesday, December 17, 6–9 PM, River Outpost

Cost: $10 for members, $35 for non-members
